Mortgage Preapproval

Why information do you need to get a mortgage approval?

If applyinfg fpr a mortgage preapproval there is a list of information required.
1. Letter of emplyment- Have your employer give you a letter on company letterhead outling your name, length of employment, salary, and number of years employed. If you are self employed you will need 3 years of Notice of Assessment from revenue Canada.

2. Know your banking info.- ( institutions name, address, type of accounts, account numbers )

3. Know your assets and liabilities- car loans, credit card balances, student loans

Be upfront with the mortgage lender so that they can get you the best deal.
